I’m Jeff Long. I spent 20 years in public education teaching kindergartners to sing, 4th grade immigrants how to speak english, and high school students how to write essays. Then I left. Both the classroom and America. I was in Albania in December 2022, when ChatGPT launched. I shared it with a friend, and haven’t stopped working with it since. In 2025, I built AI personas, ETL workflows, data analytics dashboards, and a 2.3 million entry political campaign contribution database scraped from the Iowa State Auditor’s office, all with the help of Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini. Today, I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate this transition into the AI age by teaching people how to use the technology and helping build AI-powered systems that empower human thriving.
